Founder of Michiana Eye Center, Dr. Weiss is a board certified medical doctor of ophthalmology . He has been practicing in the Michiana area since 1980. He is well known and respected amongst his peers as being one of area’s leading cataract and refractive surgeons. Dr. Weiss was the first to perform laser-assisted cataract surgery right here in St. Joseph county and was also first in the area to use phacoemulsification during small-incision cataract surgery. He specializes in primary surgical eye care, pre and post operative care as well as the treatment and management of ocular disease.
